| 858309 | 2010-02-14 07:35:00 | Daughter has just gone onto Telecom wireless with flatmates and while others are having no trouble hers is very temperamental as to wether it wants to connect or not. Telecom were of little help and said it is probably her security settings so I have told her to uninstall antivirus etc for now. Anyone have any ideas. The modem is a Thomson and she is about 3 metres from it. Security installed is Trend MICRO. She is running VISTA | Muffin11 (15150) | ||

I'd be inclined to disable all security software to start with and take it from there. Can you describe the disconnections? Does she get connected then it drops off? |
