858154 2010-02-13 22:17:00 Hi there,

I am looking for a tool that will let me monitor how much data is being used by my internet connection. In my flat we are on an Xnet plan where we pay per GB.

Does anyone know of a program that will do this that also can differentiate between local traffic and internet traffic, given that my computer connects to our router via wireless? I have found some programs that can monitor different network adapters simultaneously but this isn't really what I need.

858156 2010-02-13 22:38:00 Reading through the details on that i got the impression it just linked up to Xnet's server and told us what we were up to all together? Or is there a way to monitor it pc- to -pc? GorCh (13021)
858157 2010-02-13 22:47:00 Networx (www.softperfect.com) may monitor each PC. But it may only monitor ethernet only not wireless Speedy Gonzales (78)
858158 2010-02-13 23:14:00 Hey Speedy thanks for that. it has a nice wee checkbox to ignore local lan traffic over specified IP ranges. Thanks for the help. GorCh (13021)
