| 857843 | 2010-02-13 02:54:00 | With the death of my previous computer, it has finally allowed for a new computer (Compaq CQ3140AN). But it doesn't have many USB ports. Currently I have three external drives, two standard drives (I believe - don't know how to open the Maxtor enclosure) and one eSATA drive all connected via USB. I am wondering what solutions I may be able to use to free up USB connectors? As it is, I can't sync up my mobile phone to the PC because it has no USB port connection (and I don't have Bluetooth - to my knowledge). Any solution ideas would be most welcome. |

Just make sure you get one thats got drivers for your version of windows. And compatible with your version of windows | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 857847 | 2010-02-13 03:11:00 | So this one maybe? DSE USB 2.0 Hub 7 Port Powered (search.dse.co.nz 2f%5fsessionid%5f%2fProduct%2fView%2fXH5800&rk=1&uid=303212226&sid=9&ts=dse&rsc=QsCJWdtbNuVDY0PA&method=and&isort=score&sessionid=4b7617b2040b3dfc2740c0a87f3b06ba), from Dick Smith Electronics? Or something better? |

| 857850 | 2010-02-13 03:23:00 | Only thing with that hub someone has written a review Pros: externally powered, 7 ports, ports on front and rear Cons: ports close together My only gripe with this hub was the ports are too close, so sometimes I have to leave an unused port between items (such as ipod shuffle). So you may not be able to use all of them, depending on how many devices youre going to plug into it |
