764004 2009-04-11 09:22:00 Everytime I try to access the forums of Gearbox (http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/), I get the message "Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address."

I'm beginning to believe the whole of NZ may have been blocked, and am just wondering if anyone else can access those forums

Easiest way to test suspcions like that are to use a web proxy

764009 2009-04-11 10:51:00 Hmm interesting. Could a Slingshot user test it for me (as that's my ISP). Also, does anyone know any proxies I can use to try for myself?

Thanks but that's no use; I know the site's up, I'm talking about my ip being blocked.

764011 2009-04-13 13:06:00 I had this problem on a forum once I had never been to before in my life and was trying to sign up at

Sent email to their administrator, everything fixed quickly.

I'm guessing it was because of my dynamic IP, I probably just happened to have got a banned one at that particular time
