764403 2009-04-14 10:09:00 Converting km per litre to mpg. = Divide kilometers by liters & multiply by 2.83. This is an easy way to give you mpg. BobM (1138)
764404 2009-04-14 13:20:00 My car gets 15mpg. That's around 330km consistently from about 55L.

I need a new car.

It's not even a big Commodore/Falcon, just a 3L V6...

764405 2009-04-14 17:24:00 My 1986 K5 Blazer 5.7 L, THM700R4 = 1,000 KM/122 Liters.

2000 Chevy Astro 4.3 L, FI, THM700R4-E = 675 KM/72 Liters.

1989 Isuzu Amigo 2.6 4ZEI , FI, 5MUA = 530 KM/60 Liters.

These are all mixed freeway and surface streets, as freeway driving alone will get considerable better mileage when we run about 135 KM/hour.
