763095 2009-04-08 07:32:00 I ordered my hard drive enclosure from Ascent Monday afternoon and it arrived the next morning.

I also got prompt initial reply (within 10 minutes) to my query over what appeared to be a pricing discrepancy. They investigated this and gave me a final answer 1.5 hours later.

Ascent are certainly worth paying that little bit extra for the service you receive. :thanks

763096 2009-04-08 07:37:00 Ordered a whole load of stuff I didn't need on 24/12 last year and arrived the following morning. T'was even gift wrapped! Think the courier guy stole my milk and cookies but hey, it was damn good service! --Wolf-- (128)
763097 2009-04-08 09:43:00 Ordered a hard drive from Ascent on Tuesday, arrived that afternoon :)

One not-so-great story I have from Ascent is an RMA request for a broken USB to SATA adaptor (separate to that above) - RMA'd it that afternoon (20 Aug), got a reply from Ascent within a day. Held on to it until I got an address to send it to a month or so later. Got my $ back - in November... still think Ascent's great though :)

763099 2009-04-08 12:02:00 Brilliant contribution as always there Trev.

Everything I've bought has been from Super Cheap PC. While not the best service, I've only had to return 2 things (a HDD and an external HDD case), which were both replaced within a week.

763100 2009-04-08 19:23:00 I have bought a few things from Ascent. Status reports are very prompt, and I usually get my goods 2-3 days later (in Taranaki). Haven't had to RMA yet

So far very happy

763101 2009-04-08 19:51:00 Ascent seem to have become faster at delivering to Nelson, down from 3 days to 2 days, get most of my stuff from them now. RMA'd one item so far a USB SATA/IDE conversion cable replacement came before I sent the other one back, Love their customer service and their website is one of the best for navigating around in gary67 (56)
763102 2009-04-08 22:30:00 Another Ascent fanboy here. 2 RMA issues, one my fault, one the component, both sorted promptly without question.

Anyone can give good service when things work. It's when things go wrong, that's the measure of real service.

Did anyone notice in the C1 thread that one of the Ascent staff offered to sort out an RMA issue from C1 for a faulty Seagate? Yay Ascent:clap

Yes, you pay a bit more. But when posters are complaining of losses from $150 - $850, count me in for paying more for quality service.

And we're more than happy to try and get any C1 RMA's you guys might have sorted. Email returns@ascent.co.nz with all the details and we'll try out best to replace/repair it for you :)

763104 2009-04-08 23:25:00 Gonna poop on the party and say I've never ordered anything from Ascent. Well, I have but they didn't have the items I wanted in stock.

Perhaps you guys will donate so I can order something? :p
