I suspect Bin Laden wants to kill more than Richard Dawkins does.

762741 2009-04-06 21:31:00 Please don't do this again. You seem smart enough to learn how to use an apostrophe.

OMG! I can only say I must have been tired, roddy_boy.

It wont happen again....

762742 2009-04-06 21:50:00 The religious ones would murder each other while claiming one was there before the other.

The athiests will just complain about all the noise the other two are making.

762743 2009-04-06 22:13:00 Of the two religious ones - one is a devout protestant and a supporter of Glasgow Rangers and the other is a roman catholic and a supporter of Glasgow Celtic. They hugged each other and remained friends for life. Dally (6292)
762744 2009-04-06 22:19:00 Hi All.

Consider this.

Put two religous zealots of different persuassions in one room.

Put two atheists in another.

Which pair will be the first to try & kill each other???

PJ

I guess the answer is the religious zealots will kill each other and the atheists will become friends as they share the same belief.
My reasoning is the atheists are correct in their beliefs and the religious people are not.

I am an atheist & I believe that I am more tolerant than most. I also forgive easily. PJ

762746 2009-04-06 22:29:00 I guess it depends on the religions of the zealots. Are they both Irish and catholic and protestant? (did I spell that right?) Or are they a buddist and a muslim?

And also, what about the athiests? Just because they don't have conflicting religions, doesn't mean that they won't hate each other.

I have found atheists to be the least tolerant of other peoples' beliefs - they are usually quite smug and superior and seem to think that there is something fantastic about the human ability to reason - and that their belief proves that they are reasoning better than most.

As far as forgiveness goes, it is not a matter of simply deciding not to hate somebody who has wronged you. What do you mean by forgiveness?
