| 763081 | 2009-04-08 04:37:00 | I'd like to add my own "great service" story from Amazon US: I bought an HD DVD and it arrived scratched (shrinkwrapped, but scratched). I emailed Amazon and let them know and they sent out a new copy for free and asked me to send the damaged one back. They then refunded my postage and upon confirming the damaged disk sent me a $50 gift certificate. Awesome :D |

| 763083 | 2009-04-08 04:48:00 | Well, seeing we're now talking about excellent service... Bought a nice Thermaltake case/watercooling setup off ascent. It was just over a year old, and one of the fins broke off the water pump. Emailed Ascent (this was Friday 2.30PM or so) and got an immediate reply, long story short basically I got a replacement water pump from AnywareNZ on Saturday. I thought I'd cleaned out all the bits of plastic fin from the cooling system but obviously I missed one, it ended up going through the pump and buggering it again, exatly the same thing - had a replacement on the doorstep the following day, no questions asked. Ascent have also been awesome with a PSU RMA I had to do, and a hard drive a while ago. :clap |
