| 860157 | 2010-02-20 20:03:00 | Hi all, I recently put new hard drive in my Dell precision 330 workstation. Currently running windows 2000 pro. I would like to install windows xp pro but tried downloading it and it said need bios upgrade. Is the dell OS9 the correct bios upgrade or is that just for printer drivers etc..What is the proper upgrade and where can I get it? | 860159 | 2010-02-20 20:15:00 | Hi there. Welcome to PressF1. It looks like there is only one BIOS for your PC and that is here and is Version A09. support.dell.com I don't know where you downloaded XP from but are you sure the D/L is kosher? |

| 860162 | 2010-02-20 22:05:00 | You can download the BIOS direct but there seems little point in doing so as it will be the same bios as you currently have I would think. You will need a boot floppy or CD to flash the bios though. |
