| 765443 | 2009-04-16 06:05:00 | A while back I disabled our network adapter, and forgot to enable it again :o. Booted the computer up the next morning and windows said that I had changed my hardware and had to re-activate windows. Anyway, our broadband was down at the time and I had to ring Microsoft :groan: In the end it all turned out sweet :) |

Thats great, but problem is Im getting married & moving outta home in a few weeks, and there's a network here of ~10+ devices that need updates manually downloaded every other week ;) hey Chill - if you want to stop IE8 auto downloading simply go to This MS Download (www.microsoft.com) - run the tool and IE8 will not auto install. Thanks mate, I'll grab that and give it a whirl, still unsure about the Office / Windows WGA cr@p though :-/ |

| 765445 | 2009-04-16 21:22:00 | When I created a hardware profile on my netbook, on reboot XP wanted reactivation. :stare: It activated fine, though. The only time I had to reactivate Vista was when I reinstalled. :D |
