767643 2009-04-22 23:30:00 Use Nokia suite for years no problems until now, on old phone used it infrared and cable.
Got new Nokia 3120C and a usb cable but it wont connect(electronically), its connects fine on blootooth.
Got latest version of suite and cable has Nokia CA101 made in commy china on it.
Pretty sure cable ok.
Cable came without driver but suite says its built into suite, tried anyway to download driver for cable but it says newer driver already installed.
No real hassle because blootooth works but annoying since I bought cable.
Thanks for any help.

767647 2009-04-23 11:46:00 I know the older model nokias that uses pop port usb connection are a hassle and doesn't work with nokia pc suite properly.

On the bright side the newer models that uses micro usb do not have any problems connecting to pc suite

I also had the difficulty on pc suite with the very old models 3XXX nokias 6 years ago.I got it to work but the buyer who bought my cable couldn't.

It's best to use the cable on windows xp

767648 2009-04-23 21:19:00 My phone is 1 week old and with mini usb cable connection. It is Nokia phone, Nokia cable and Nokia Suite.
I use XP.
Pop port on old phone worked well, cable wasn't even a genuine Nokia one. Was running on W98SE.
Have given up too hard, will use blootooth.
Probably a firmware issue had issues (wouldn't work issue) with Nokia 6210 phone with handsfree kit a few years ago but a firmware update sorted it out.
I have never owned a non Nokia phone, been loyal as and this is what happens.
