| 767447 | 2009-04-22 09:45:00 | 1) If I want to set up a Paypal account to accept over-Internet donations, which account do I select? In other words, if someone wish to make a paypal donation to me, what account should I be having to experience this feature? 2) Do I need a credit card even if I won't use my paypal account to buy items over the Internet? I have (attempted?) read through the terms and conditions, but the differences and specific details are not clear. Cheers :) |

| 767456 | 2009-04-22 11:09:00 | It's been that long since I set up my PayPal account I can't recall the process. I'm pretty sure you need a credit card to create a PayPal account, but if you have funds in your PayPal account then you don't need to make use of that credit card to make an online purchase. Typically they use the funds in your PayPal account first and then any amount over and above what is in your account is charged to your credit card. I wonder if you could use a debit card instead of a credit card when setting up a PayPal account..... | andrew93 (249) | ||
