| 767156 | 2009-04-24 22:21:00 | At five minutes and six seconds after 4 a.m. on the 8th of July this year, the time and date will be 04:05:06 07/08/09. This will never happen again. An interesting piece of off-topic trivia, Cicero - how will you be celebrating it? :) As far as I am concerned, as with every New Year, I see little point in making a fuss over an arbitrary point in time that only occurs because someone (a mere human) in the far dim dark past stuck a spear (?) in the ground and decided that "This is 00/00/0000 00:00:00.000" Time (en.wikipedia.org) has been "happening" for a lot longer than you humans (:D) have been around and will continue to happen long after humans manage to wipe themselves off the face of this or any other planet.... |

| 767160 | 2009-04-25 01:59:00 | At five minutes and six seconds after 4 a.m. on the 8th of July this year, the time and date will be 04:05:06 07/08/09. This will never happen again. Except the next similar occurrence will be six minutes and seven seconds after 5 a.m. on the 9th of August next year. The Herald will still be delivered late, and still be deserving of rants against its editorial policies. And the Americans will still be using their unique :illogical system of date/time formats  |

| 767161 | 2009-04-25 06:42:00 | A tricky one here... Have you thought of getting a mail box that you can put paper in which it doesn't get wet. Some times called a larger one? Good grief Ciccy! I'm not quite sure what I said that might have made you think I was too daft to provide an adequate letter box! It has a large (redundant) milk delivery space with an extended overhang and is open on the opposite side to the prevailing weather direction. They need only fold the paper in 3 or 4 and stand it up at the rear of the box and it would remain dry in any weather. The problem is them leaving it hanging outside. You are not by any chance moonlighting as my Herald delivery person are you. :horrified Cheers Billy 8-{) :p |
