I'm quite sure that the people who have lost their jobs in recent tmes and don't know how they're going to pay the power bill really care about renaming the islands. Are our tax dollars going towards paying these idiots to sit around dreaming up alternative names/spellings? This country has bigger problems than that & to waste our money paying some dumbass with no life to dream up crap like this.... They want to cut government spending? I can think of one Department that could be shut down... :2cents: |

I can think of one Department that could be shut down... :2cents: 100% agree with that!!!:thumbs: Plus how much money is it going to cost to change maps,books etc.,and anything else that would need to be changed?And for what ''Oh we changed the name to be PC","Oh we changed the name because it was boring". Fine you want to change it then you pay for all the stuff that has to be rewritten and changed then. What a waste of money!!! New Zealand should be instead looking at creating jobs,the economy,the health system,the education system,modernising/fixing the transportation system,...the list goes on as we all know these things are WAY MORE IMPORTANT then changing dam place names. What a laugh when we have more important things to worry about we then get thrown a side ball to distract us from the REAL things that REALLY MATTER.:lol::D I am still going to call every place name that I grew up with by the name it was then and now I'm not going to start calling them some new name now.Hay if it's not PC,so what,get over it,get a life,I don't give a ****!!! |
