If it was going before no. But if it didnt work before with the CPU thats in it, the mobo may not support it, without a BIOS update And it wont turn on / post |

ok so it was the cpu. So this is either good or bad, good, the cpu is higher than 2.4 ghz. Bad, cpu dead. oh well pc going now |

Well its either the CPU that was in it is dead. Or the BIOS thats on it now, doesnt support the CPU that was in it |

ok deos any one know if there is a bios update for this motherboard that will let me run a faster cpu? Because it now has a 1.8 P4 and if the other one can run would like to use it. |

This maybe it (www.msi.com). But then you have to figure out whether its G or GL. What BIOS update is on it now? |

Looks like the GL has a LAN socket and the G does not. |
