861462 2010-02-25 02:55:00 I have decided to buy a 26 or 27 inch monitor. I know they exist, I've seen them on the Internet, but none of the local shops seem to stop them. Has anyone got any recommendations about buying off the net? Preferably a New Zealand firm as I want some minimal comeback if anything goes wrong. Also, do these people have some sort of backup in case you have problems installing it or anything like that? Not that you have much problem installing monitors I know but...... 861464 2010-02-25 03:44:00 Dell and HP have excellent warranty support. If you get their high end monitors, they have a 0 bad pixel policy (I know hp allows up to 4 sub pixel defects, but 0 bright/dark pixels).

Also they do advanced exchange, so if anything goes wrong, you just call them up, they send you a new one and you put your faulty one in the box and send it back, all at their cost.

This means you can buy from any shop as any issue you can deal with HP directly.
