769087 2009-04-28 01:40:00 Did anyone else have problems with SkyTV this morning?

For whatever eason, I was "locked" on to TV3 when I switched my TV on this morning. A workmate was "locked" on to Channel 62.

Nothing appeared on the Sky TV web site when I checked earlier today, but now, there is a "Technical Problems" notice on their front page - albeit no mention of known current issues :(

769088 2009-04-28 01:50:00 Yip I know of several other cases, Happend to mine also, Just unlpug the powr to your sky leave if off for a minute then turn it back on, Try that again if it doesn't work first time.

I got mine going.

769089 2009-04-28 02:12:00 Yes, I had a similar occurrence which was rectified as previously stated by turning off the sky box and leaving for a minute. When i turned it back on..all was well :) smurf (6545)

769091 2009-04-28 07:54:00 Nothing major, they changed details on their transponders, ready for tuning to channel on the Freeview mux.

Pull the power plug for 1 min then reinsert it will fix it.

769093 2009-04-29 00:17:00 This is what cause the channels to lock new software installed for freeview channels.

769094 2009-04-29 00:31:00 The point I was trying to make was that the change was made without any prior warning to subscribers, along with the fact that Sky's website carried no fault information/explanation for some hours following the event :(

Of course, it is always easy to be smart in hindsight :)
