768461 2009-04-26 05:32:00 So sorry to hear of your loss, Greg. :(

Although I am lucky to still have both my parents and siblings alive, I know from when my husband lost his father that the pain lasts for a long time but does eventually ease.

Take care of yourself. :)

Have been in a similar situation... as Foxy says, it takes a long time.
As said numerous times before... one day at a time

768466 2009-04-26 08:14:00 Sorry to hear, best thing to do IMO is take what you learnt from her over the years and make the effort to apply it to day to day life. Not only does it give you something to ponder but you feel better for it. Regards hueybot3000 (3646)

768468 2009-04-26 23:56:00 Losing your mother is the hardest loss of all Greg. More so than anyone else she gave you life, nurtured you, and made you who you are. Hold on to the good memories and treasure them, let go of the not so good, we all have them and time does heal them.

Keep her warm in your thoughts forever, no less than this she has earned and deserves.

Deepest sympathy

Billy
