| 768075 | 2009-04-25 21:27:00 | Our house is wired so it sends Sky to all TV jacks in the house, but it will only display the channel that the MySky Decoder is on at the time. To change Sky channels you have to go to the lounge that the decoder is in and change it. In the UK my Sister in law has a remote sender that works with Sky, You can change Sky channels from the TV that has the receiver with another remote without running downstairs to change it. Not sure you can get those here. "Not sure you can get those here" You sure can, I have one and it works very well. I have split the signal to my bedroom and can use my Sky remote while in bed 25 meters and two wood walls from the Sky decoder. Got it at DSE a few years ago for about $80. | 768078 | 2009-04-30 08:19:00 | I have mine set up so the sky decoder runs to the dvd player/recorder. The dvd player/recorder video out goes to my main tv (RCA plugs) and the dvd player tv out is cabled to my 2nd tv (normal aerial socket). I can have 1 on sky and the other on normal TV. Recently I added a video transmitter unit to the 2nd sky scart connector with the video receiver unit on the 2nd TV (RCA plugs) to get rid of the cable I had running from my lounge to my bedroom. |
