862591 2010-03-01 01:09:00 I have a laptop that cycles through the boot process.
It attempts to boot, there is a blue screen flash then the boot process starts all over.
I ran a malware scan with the hard drive as a slave and Avast detected & deleted w30xnol32.dll.

But the laptop still does not boot.

Suggestions please.

862594 2010-03-01 01:29:00 Theres probably something in startup thats making it crash. You may have to re-connect as a slave (if you've removed it) and delete everything in the temp folder . I would say this is where the malware files are. And do a full scan with malwarebytes Speedy Gonzales (78)
862595 2010-03-01 01:44:00 Already did the malwarebytes scan.
Will remove the temp files.

862596 2010-03-01 01:48:00 Did you do a full scan of the hdd thats slaved, not the main PC? If its still connected,I can check it out with teamviewer, if you want Speedy Gonzales (78)
862597 2010-03-01 01:50:00 Yes did the scan as a slave
I'll have it rehooked up in a few minutes.
