| 770850 | 2009-05-04 06:58:00 | Any good webservices with an app that'll allow me to sync files between 2 computers? I need it so that both computers won't need to be on-i.e sync to an online server. I was thinking of using syncbackse along with my home ftp server but it i to complicating and would only be my last resort. I know there's a few of these on the web, but I want one that members here recommend and have had experience with Cheers Blam |

Haven't tried them so cant vouch for them-- go on be a devil be the first to try :p In case you dont have the mag Sync.live (sync.live.com/) and the other one Live Mesh (https:) Edited: another one MS have is Skydrive (http://skydrive.live.com/) - I logged in the other day with my live account, and uploaded a couple of pictures as a test - worked perfectly, and they give you 25GB of free storage. You could access it from any PC as long as there are no restrictions on the PC of course. |

| 770854 | 2009-05-04 10:29:00 | Hmmmm interesting Beeswax - I did say "Haven't tried them so cant vouch for them" but I have tried skydrive, and that worked fine. One would hope that PCworld, before putting them in the Magazine would have tested them -- ???? Will give live Mesh a try on my workshop PC's tomorow. |

| 770857 | 2009-05-05 03:33:00 | Tried Live Mesh and it corrupted my graphics drivers! Just loaded up MS mesh on W7, the PC is an old clunker - P4 3.0 - 1 GB RAM, with a top end FX5200 Graphic Card :banana Runs real nice - no graphic problem at all - Uploaded files easy. Only problem I had was when I tried the remote desktop :( No Sence of Humor (www.imagef1.net.nz) |
