769805 2009-05-01 00:35:00 As the title says - its currently available to any one who has a MSDN or Technet subscription. Pic attached since imageF1 is down.

Will be available to the general public on the 6th May - (5th in the USA)

BUT theres a catch :D Once again, MS have under estimated how many people want to download it - TechNet went to a crawl, and even stopped.

I was speaking to a Technet help person after getting the error messages and he said " they are working on it" :waughh:

Might just wait a day or so - as I can see this happening on Public release day as well.

769806 2009-05-01 01:34:00 Do Technet subscribers get physical media shipped to them? somebody (208)
769807 2009-05-01 02:57:00 Do Technet subscribers get physical media shipped to them? You can do, but its a different subscription and costs about an extra $250 (USA) - Personally I dont think its worth the extra for a few CD/DVD's - As a comparison heres the differance (technet.microsoft.com(en-us).aspx) wainuitech (129)

769809 2009-05-01 03:08:00  I would if the bloody thing was a bit quicker - keeps timing out - over usage - MS seem not to have learnt the last time to increase capacity.

No need for hackers to crash MS - they can do it them selves all on their own:)

Edited:7077 I can do, thats sweeeeeeet.

769814 2009-05-01 05:12:00 I d/l'd both versions when they originally got released but the 64bit one would not install. The 32bit one went fine. I think I have messed about with it for a full 5 minutes and it seems to be a huge improvement over Vista. I would put vista in the same category as WinME.

Will probably wait on the finally Win7 release now I think, hopefully by then the 64bit version will install for me.
