| 863725 | 2010-03-03 19:55:00 | Hi, did some backup exec updates yesterday, had existing mappings to tier 2 shares on the DC, now this morning my mappings are not working?....nothing in event log, rebooted, self mapping on the box works!.. Running out of ideas! |

| 863731 | 2010-03-04 02:19:00 | Just the general updates, have the BE 2010 upgrade but read a few people having issues with it....apparently it does deduplication if doing backup to disk! However, my wife is overdue 1 week, so I dont fancy undertaking a backup application upgrade until after paternity leave, and I'm also wondering if I might just upgrade the DC at the same time. I have created a virtual DC as a backup to do duties while I rebuild the physical box into 2008 R2 with BE 2010! I might throw in some big SATA drive to do B2D, dedup and backup to tape.... |
