| 863649 | 2010-03-05 02:51:00 | are you using any mods mate? I used to play with a couple of the chat GUI mods on and it messed up a whole bunch of stuff. Generally whenever something goes wrong in HoN I: remove all mods (check if working) lower all settings to lowest (check if working) uninstall and reinstall (check if working) hope that it's working by now... or you've got to test every bit and piece :(\ I tell ya what - I play it on Windows 7 and it is a lot worse than when I was playing it on XP; constant crashes, runs way slower and etc now. Could be something similar for you... |

| 863650 | 2010-03-05 05:48:00 | I run it on 7 and it's far nicer than it ever was on XP (performance), and I've been on the Beta team since way back when ... ;) I've even been testing on a Mac recently, works great. No crashes on any platform, and I've given it a good run for its money too! |

No crashes on any platform, and I've given it a good run for its money too! Which edition of 7 are you using? Like the OP I'm on 64x Ultimate. I think the performance issues may partly be due to my computer getting old... it only has 1gb of memory which really probably isn't enough for 7 + HoN + iTunes + Firefox + other apps o_O. And my video card is a bloody shocker; g6600gt o_O~!)_!O_O!_O!_O! But what really gets me is that it keeps crashing. Every 3 games or so... Bloody annoying. |
