| 863496 | 2010-03-03 05:52:00 | Daughter buys a new Netbook . I install apps etc, all runs well for a few days and I warn her about the perils of P2P file sharing networks . Now, 1st fault appears, despite Skype working, neither IE8 or Google Chrome will connect to the net . "The Web page or Null might be down . . . " FWIW, the WLan was disconnected when I inspected the unit . Also, MS Restore Point had been ticked off . Suggestion on how to restore IE/Chrome to full working connection appreciated . Thanks John in Mosgiel . |

| 863498 | 2010-03-03 06:23:00 | Is there a proxy somewhere in IE's or Chrome's options? If either are enabled, disable it in both. What version of IE and Chrome? Did anyone add the DNS server ips under the wireless properties? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
