| 771176 | 2009-05-05 05:48:00 | There used to be part of the old Pub in Howick that was Wood fired pizzas, we went a few times it was quite good, not sure if they still do that or if it is different owners. Also used to be a good Pizza place a couple of blocks up above Moray Place on Upper Stuart St (Cnr of Smith & Stuart or York and Stuart not sure which) It was on the left going up, but that was gone quite a few years ago. I think Dominos would have to be the worst. |

Dominos are OK for quick cheap feed but if you want the best pizza in NZ go to the Pizza Barn in Waipu! :thumbs: That place is standing room only most Friday & Saturday nights! |

| 771181 | 2009-05-05 07:17:00 | Every so often we get frozen pizza bases from the supermarket and a couple of times the dough from Hell pizzas and make our own. A pizza stone in the oven and turned up full bore and just throw on a heap of leftovers and various other bits and pieces we have in the fridge or pantry. Sometimes they turn out ok, sometimes crap. If there is not much in the fridge I get a little bit of various meats from the supermarket deli etc, we always have a heap of different types of cheeses in the fridge, plus lots of different sauces in the pantry, not hard to make something up to eat that tastes better than beans on toast. |

The bits of food laying around the place on the floor and the grubby surroundings in the premises put me off for good and having done a lot of travel including India it was bad, how Dominos Howick ever keeps it's "A" grading is a miracle. That probably put me off more than their bad tasting Pizza |
