770802 2009-05-04 06:28:00 Hi Guys,

I currently own three alternative domains for PressF1:
pressf1.net.nz
pf1.co.nz
pf1.net.nz
These are about to expire - as they currently cost me $100/year, I'm planning to let them expire unless you guys feel they are worth keeping.

Thoughts?

770803 2009-05-04 06:34:00 Why the hell would you buy them in the first place? pine-o-cleen (2955)
770804 2009-05-04 06:42:00 Mainly because it seemed useful if we needed subdomains, and to stop other opportunists pinching them, but to be honest they haven't really been used for much. Erayd (23)

770806 2009-05-04 06:49:00 I'd say if they are not used let them go - no point in paying out $$ for something thats not being used or needed.

If you wanted to keep any I would suggest pressf1.net.nz

I've sent Jan a PM - will see if FFBM wants them, but my guess is not.

I'd be happy to contribute towards them if we can get some consensus on which one('s) to keep, and what to do them in the future.

A couple of hundred a year is pretty cheap when you share the cost across all the members that contribute and benefit from this site.

One hundred, not two - it's $33 plus some odd cents per domain if I recall correctly.

Yeah I did think $100 per domain was a bit pricey :p

That makes it even more of a no-brainer if it's of some practicable use to have them.

Let the members speak!!
