1449912 2018-05-30 00:47:00 I used to like the radio but modern technology has changed my habits, too much talking and adds on the radio when I can get a continuous stream of music I like add free in various ways - local playlist, youtube playlist, spotify, etc.
I do occasionally listen to the radio still though.

As for cover versions, there are a lot of great ones. Often too someone will tell you it's not as good as the "original" which a bit of research will tell you was a cover itself.
I like a good cover, it takes nothing away from the original and may even get people listening to it again.

One example, Simon and Garfunkel - the sound of silence. It's a legendary song and has stood the test of time, still considered by many to be one of the all time greats. Disturbed do an excellent cover of it introducing a whole new generation to this song and putting their own spin on it. www.youtube.com Not the same sure, and which you prefer is a personal thing, but still a great cover IMHO. I think there is plenty of room in the world for multiple versions of a song.
