1447708 2018-03-26 21:14:00 Fortunately, never have, never will.
I knew the risks, and decided that it was not worth it, to discover what others had for breakfast etc.
If people wish to contact me they will know how, or not, as the case may be.
Mind you they probably have some data about me, as they slurp up everyone's irrespective of farcebook membership or not. ****ers

if you have a smartphone, if you've ever used google , if you've ever used free email, if you've ever filled out online forms of any kind ....... :)
And privacy T&C's mean nothing, as slurped up data can be sold off despite what T&C's say (thats happened in the past)

When google drive around in their cars , (illegally) slurping up as much data as possible from every wifi signal they could find, and getting away with it, then you know
we have an issue.
Got lots of corporate $$$, get away with anything. Just say you didnt really intend to do that , despite writing software to do it.

Apps on my PC I can get/force some control over.
Apps installed on an Android, they can & do whatever they want with anything on the phone . To the extent of even txt spamming your contacts (its known to have happened)
Its the privacy on the phone that has me more worried .

Faceboo on Android phones is a real issue . Slurping up info they had no need to access (txt message info)

1447713 2018-03-27 20:49:00 Wow, that was a scary read, Lawrence.

How did we let this happen, and, more importantly, how can it be stopped?

Yes I know that Android is Google. I don’t have the FB app on my cell, and so far as I can tell from my downloaded stuff from FB, my texts and phone calls are not on there. I see that it has been of much concern to others though, bad bad FaceBoo !
