| 1449623 | 2018-05-16 22:39:00 | I see some companies are signing up to the "Cybersecurity Tech Accord" "The Cybersecurity Tech Accord is a public commitment among more than 30 global companies to protect and empower civilians online and to improve the security, stability and resilience of cyberspace." https://cybertechaccord.org/ I just had an email from Bitdefender trumpeting that they have signed up You look at who else have signed up & its obviously a load of BS. Total horse Manure Facebook ...say no more HP ... a company who care so little that new HP PC's come with MS Defender DISABLED and a 30 day Norton trial pre-loaded instead. So after 30 days , their customers have no working AV at all . Seen it so many times, HP's(and other brands) with expired trial AV . Symantec ... see above :( Now lets see what tech websites actually call it out for the BS it is. Not many I'd bet www.securityweek.com |
