| 772705 | 2009-05-10 02:25:00 | As per one of my previous posts I hoped to buy an X-Type Jag. Sadly I couldn't find one in my price range. I spent the spare 5K on my holiday instead with my brother, and bought an immaculate low KM's Nissan Maxima TI instead. I negotiated a 1.5K reduction in the price. Sad but at least it leaves me with a more powerful car, and a few bucks left in the bank. Asking price was 14K - I paid 11.5K. I sure wish I could have found a good value Jag... which I would've wanted to go to Auckland for. Nevermind however, especially having to deal with my mum's recent death. Anyway, as far as cars go... the Maxima is good. Very quick on overtaking and realy economical at legal speeds, even with it's V6 engine. And I expect it'll be ok for parts, spares and repairs. G. |

Ken :thumbs: The new Jag XF came top in a recent readers survey from a British car mag (This is from people who own the cars) Other top makers were Lexus, Toyota, Honda, Kia and Skoda. |
