2010-03-06 07:32:00 Thank you Speedy. I have ticked what you have advised. I have a question, Is it true that Vista can only have one real time anti virus program? puffins808 (14043)
2010-03-06 07:40:00 Yes CliveM (6007)
2010-03-06 07:42:00 Thank you Speedy. I have ticked what you have advised. I have a question, Is it true that Vista can only have one real time anti virus program?

You should only have 1 AV program on any version of windows, not just Vista. This includes XP and Windows 7. Or they may conflict, then there's no point in having an AV program. This also applies to firewalls

2010-03-06 07:43:00 So I have Microsoft essentials and malwarebytes (full version). There should be no issures with them? puffins808 (14043)
2010-03-06 07:46:00 That should be fine. Altho you shouldnt really have both running at the same time. BUT, I'm running both on the other system. I have noticed that malwarebytes does take a while to load sometimes, because of MSE (it can use a bit of memory sometimes) Speedy Gonzales (78)
2010-03-06 07:50:00 What would you suggest? On all of my other computer and laptops I have them also. puffins808 (14043)
2010-03-06 08:19:00 I wouldnt worry about it. Leave them as is Speedy Gonzales (78)
2010-03-06 09:06:00 Thank you. One more question. On my laptop...all of a sudden runs slow when I play mafia wars on facebook. I ran the two programs to see if it catches anything. It did not. What do you suggest I do? puffins808 (14043)
