| 771998 | 2009-05-11 07:44:00 | How are you finding PCLOS. Are you on 2007 or 2009 2009 now, I am not too sure if the update was worth it. I liked 2007 and there are a few niggles with 2009 as yet. For me, PCLOS is the "best fit"OS I've tried yet. YMMV :thumbs: If I was setting up a fresh machine, I think I would put in 2007. At the moment though, I'm at work (Sorry, 4 letter word) so I am using Puppy Linux on an EeePC via a Vodem. |

I'm looking for a respectable looking flat, dark theme like that. Cool background btw, kind of Tim Burton-esque. |

Cool background btw, kind of Tim Burton-esque.It is a customised "Human - Clearlooks" as well as changing the properties of each panel (task bars). I've made the panels semi-translucent. It obviously helps to have the font a lighter colour so you can still read the writing ... which I haven't done. My Vista desktop has wallpaper by the same artist - see here (imagef1.net.nz). The wallpaper is called "Google's library". Very cool. :cool: |
