This will be viewed very badly by most . And the fact they said that they didn't even know if he was dead or alive 8 hours after the shooting took place . Is that humane? Is it humane to not storm a place/do whatever it take to get a guy who is possibly alive out from the street and into medial care? The fact they had to get call in the army (for support), hell the SAS, does not help raise any confidence either . ^ Career suicide . Exactly . Everyone from the PM's office down . No matter what call they make, most will view it wrong . Too much PC if you ask me . If cops did shoot/kill the guy, I am sure there will be an uproar from the do-gooders about human rights, etc etc . If they don't they'll be seen as weak and cowardly . I'd hate to be them right now . |
