I simply cannot understand how anyone could do such a thing to another human being - let alone a small child.

774254 2009-05-16 01:27:00 Or how his mother could let it happen.

Or how the anti-smacking law didn't help

774255 2009-05-16 01:28:00 I just hope this Joachim guy is not in isolation in prison. Slow and painful is all I wish on this guy, slow and painful. sam m (517)
774256 2009-05-16 01:43:00 prison for him is a waste of time, bullet between the eyes is what should have been..... ronyville (10611)
774257 2009-05-16 02:06:00 That guy isn't a human. How anyone could deliver such a beating to a small child is beyond any comprehension. It's horible to imagine a small kid cowering in a corner not understanding why he is being beaten up, hoping for mercy.

Bring back public execution.

774258 2009-05-16 02:32:00 Death would probably come as a relief to the poor little tyke.

At times like this, I am a firm believer in ..."an eye for an eye"

Beat the bastard to death slooooowly.

Too kind. I say several applications (10 should do it) of a shotgun (12ga of course), given as a suppositary, and then he can go free. If he lives for more than a week, repeat.

And people are surprised that vigelante justice is on the rise: because it seems more just than the courts, and the punishment more direct.

774261 2009-05-17 06:40:00 Vigilantism arises when the law does not protect those it was designed to protect. qazwsxokmijn (102)

He got 18 years with no parole. Should have been whole of life in the worst prison we've got.
