773116 2009-05-11 09:49:00 Awoke this morning to another cold chch morning, running late so running around madly. Get in car and put my feet down into about 2 inches of water, all the rain we had got in and flooded drivers footwell!

So jump out and grab a jug and start bailing water out (such fun at negative a million degrees) and get it down enough to drive, run inside and change shoes and socks and run back out and get going (now running rather late).

Get to first intersection from home and stupid driver in front changes lanes just before light change at intersection so hard on the brakes to stop...and my feet get drowned again.

Turns out back drivers side footwell also full of water so that came up the front to meet me.

No time to change shoes again so go to work, spend morning in the workshop preparing to go to site, standing on concrete floor

Just getting feeling in my feet back now

Bring on tomorrow!

773122 2009-05-11 11:11:00 As it doesn't rain much in aussie, they don't actually check to see if there cars are water tight or not. plod (107)
