| 865529 | 2010-03-10 04:17:00 | Sony Vaio FZ Screen Issue Overnight a problem with the screen on my Sony Vaio FZ has become apparent . A think multi colour bar had started to appear at the bottom of the screen . I am not entirely sure if the problem is related to the 8400GT graphics processor, I have had a preciously faulty one replaced which I hope reduces the likelihood that the graphics processor is the culprit . I am just going through now backing up my data in case the fault spreads further . My eye sight may not be sharp enough but it may have expanded . Note that in the pictures attached it appears green but when I have something else up as wallpaper, or a program open, the colours change to reflect in some way what is on the rest of the screen . For example when I have word opinion the blue background appears black on the bar, the text area is a shade of grey . Also, my taskbar is not that thick . Supposibly my faulty 8400GT (part of a huge problem nvidia had with the 8 series cards where almost the whole range was affected) was replaced with one from a non-faulty batch. I thought though if it was the cards fault it would have affected the entire screen not just a section of it. | AST (13503) | ||
