| 865355 | 2010-03-09 18:42:00 | The other day I went to install Test Drive Unlimited on my Win 7 Pro, however it won't install. I first get an error 1335 with a message that my .CAB file is corrupt, and then an error 2350. A quick search and I find these are apparently Windows Installer errors, and recommended to update my Windows Installer, however I don't know how to do that in Win 7 (everything I found talked about Win XP or Vista, including the pages on Microsoft.com) Any ideas or suggestions? Yes (other than today's updates, which are installing now). I had seen that post about TDU compatibility, however had read in many places that it works fine, and so am hoping I can just get my Windows Installer working to install it. Otherwise I guess I will have to wait for a patch or whatever when it's made Win 7 compatible so I can install it (if that is the cause). Unfortunately my CPU doesn't support VT, so that's not an option. Cheers, Mike. |
