774777 2009-05-20 09:31:00 Ive still got a 4th gen Ipod (thats the B&W ipod right)? I think the battery is a bit knackered tho (it still works). Its meant to be one of these longer lasting ones (yer right). It dies quicker than the one I pulled out lol

If it had pins on the hdd, I would chuck it out and put it in this laptop PCuser gave me lol (somehow)

Hi Speedy
My one is white. Not sure where the black might come in ? The battery is not too bad. Still goes fine. It does not owe me anything now. The 20 Gigs is still a good amount and even with podcasts I do not need to cull very often. In fact this amount of space may even be a disadvantage because otherwise and would be more picky and not hoard stuff (which I have a propensity for doing !)

774781 2009-05-21 10:30:00 Thats why they should stick to shops with a good rep.
And why there are places like PressF1.

You think all cars are the same? No-one walks into a dealer and says I'll have that pretty red one.

Or a cheap drill from the Warehouse versus a De Walt?

Buying a PC is not like buying a toaster.

And Wainuitechs list I have to add
1)Acer
2)Packard Bell

In order of crapness.

I heard somewhere that De Walt are just rebadged Black and Decker - made in the same factory..... I wouldn't touch one for that reason - I'll stick with Hitachi and Makita power tools (wish I could cost-justify Bosch!!!)

774782 2009-05-21 19:57:00 Yes Dewalt is owned by black & decker, so is Stanley tools and a slew of others too. Nothing wrong with Dewalt over the 25 years I have been in the building industry I have burnt out many more Makita's than Dewalt drills for some reason the Makita's don't cut the mustard and yet they are treated exactly the same. gary67 (56)
774783 2009-05-21 21:27:00 Dewalt - well - Asrock is owned by ASUS, but the boards are completely different in Quality. pctek (84)
