Anyway I tried it out for the first time this evening and it did a good job. It left my skin dry but my bro says within a couple of weeks my skin will adapt to it.

Meanwhile I believe I can get a special moisturiser to rehydrate my face until I adapt to it.

I believe it can even be used in the shower as it's completely waterproof. Weird.

774919 2009-05-18 11:01:00 The difference between a $500 shaver and a $150 shaver is?Buggered if I know. All I asked my brother to do was to buy the best and most expensive he could find. I think he went to two or three shops and he got this one for me at Briscoes. I don't care - it's a new experience for me and all I wanted is the convenience. If I don't like it after a few weeks then it'll be a gift to my brother and I'll go back to wet shaves. Greg (193)

774924 2009-05-19 08:53:00 Wet shave takes off more skin than dry shave, which I mention only out of interest. I have always hankered about trying a wet shave - the results usually look impressive. When I was a youngster a lot of older men in my town used to go every day to the barbershop for a shave. Bit of a ritual.

Am happy with dry shave though !

774926 2009-05-19 11:11:00 What's this? Shaving yourself without any machine? Lucky you hadn't learned that trick 100 years ago or a lot of industries would never have got started !
