773347 2009-05-13 06:11:00 Having installed Win 7 RC1 64 bit I have managed to get it to blue screen within a week.

I fixed the problem based on what I learned from Vista and XP.

This will not stop me getting the full version when it gets here.

773348 2009-05-13 13:55:00 Im lookin forward to it, I've got a few people who have taken my advice and skipped Vista, and subsequently are content to wait and get new Hardware when Win 7 comes out...

Is it just me or is the RC slower than the Beta? I only played with both briefly so I could be wrong ...

I noticed that as well. It also seems to hog the disk more often as well. (And that is taking into account the disk optimisation utility in the background)

773351 2009-05-13 22:04:00 I found W7 RC slower at first, then after a short while the speed came back up, esp after running the windows updates. wainuitech (129)
