There will be just be a small mob of labor and green rabble rousing creeps protesting. Do you know the building codes are all different for the seven councils, its a nightmare for contractors. My council is Waitaikere we are the eco Nazi council where cutting down a tree is a bigger crime than rape and pillage. I have some stupid old manuka trees which are shading my house and I cant touch them, well after September they have an appointment with Mr Stihl. |

While I mostly agree with you in some repects I fail to agree in others. I think we should have the status quo in regard to councils in Auckland rather than a Super City as such. Have you ever voted in Council elections? It is Waitakere Council BTW. There again there are some Councils that do not agree with others in regards to roading, building codes, water rates and rating in general. This means that nothing actually happens or gets delayed. Then of course there are enviromental issues etc. Take Mr Stihl to Central Government. |
