| 773353 | 2009-05-12 07:58:00 | just had to go the airport today. i see the marked route has changed back to the old one instead of the south eastern highway/onehunga route. coming back i went through penrose. i see that there is a Priority Lane on the on ramp for busses and trucks. can anyone tell me if there is ANY signs about the Priority Lane BEFORE you get to it. there is certainly a nice big sign once your in the lanes but i certainly didn't see anything before the lanes. am i blind or is this yet another Transit stuff up? not hard to guess what happened, but i noticed 3 other vehicles also got the wrong lane and had to dive across into the other lanes. considering i got blasted by some irate truckie, i guess it won't be long before another truck driver is dragged out and beaten with a hammer :( |

(shows how much i go to Auckland !) there is actually a sign, one tiny sign with a pic of a truck and thats it. can't see any writing on road, no other signs. fairly dismal attempt of telling road uses. especially as anyone unfamiliar wit the area looking for the on ramp will always take the left hand lane, which is now a truck lane. sounds like typical transit............ much like there "two lanes merge to one lane" sign after the end of the passing lane we have around here. |
