| 864981 | 2010-03-08 09:53:00 | Hi guys, Took some photos and videos with my camera this weekend, however on trying to copy files onto the computer off the SD card, most of the files seem to have just vanished, with only one photo and one video remaining. These also happen to be the last shots I took. There was old stuff on there as well and that's all gone too. The card has a 2 GB capacity, and the properties still lists it as 1.05GB used with 808 MB remaining, but there's only 327 MB of files that I can find on it. I'm not overly concerned about the files on the card as I already have most of them elsewhere, although if they are easily recovered it would be nice. What's a good program to use to find them? And does anyone know if formatting the card will likely make it full capacity again? The card is a TEKQ SD card - it was just the cheapest one I could find when I got my camera. Thanks. |

| 864983 | 2010-03-08 10:07:00 | You're implying linux may be able to see files that windows can't? Could be worth a try. Forgot to mention, the camera can't view the files either. |

They are not that expensive these days. |

No it doesn't. It couldn't find any of the files on a customers machine the other day they had wiped, Easeus Data recovery found some, But Getdata back did find a lot more ( but not all). I agree, I tried it once and found it to be pretty horrible. |
