867021 2010-03-14 00:42:00 Can anyone enlighten me. I recently downloaded a movie (Taxi Driver, filmed in1976) which downloaded as an AVI File and played ok on my PC, complete with sound. When I downloaded it to a flashdrive and tried to play it on my t.v. the message "audio codec not supported" came up. Would this be because of the age of the recording? not compatible with todays formats and is it able to be converted to a more user friendly file?
I am not particularly geek minded so as simple an explanation as possible would be appreciated.
Thanks.

What device did you plug the flash drive into (eg TV, DVD, PS3, etc)?

867026 2010-03-14 01:02:00 Try downloading Media Info (mediainfo.sourceforge.net) and install it on your PC. Right click on the file and click "MediaInfo" and post what it says under "First Audio Stream". davidmmac (4619)
