| 866805 | 2010-03-13 06:17:00 | So, just signed up with slingshot. With our package, we get a free version of nod32 anti-virus(the full version, I THINK). Trouble is, we already have AVG free installed. Who knows which one is better? Should I uninstall AVG and download nod32, or keep AVG and not get nod32? Thanks, Jonathan |

| 866810 | 2010-03-13 07:01:00 | I think it's free with my account however long I stay with slingshot. Oh well, away with AVG!!! Just a question though, if I uninstall AVG, will all the viruses quaranteened in the virus vault be released back into the computer, or will they be deleted with the uninstall? EDIT: just read feersumendjinn's link, and it is free for 30 days, then $5 a month. still worth it, or is AVG better? |

| 866811 | 2010-03-13 07:09:00 | The viruses will be deleted (t'would be a mean trick to reinstall them, eh?). Nod definitely better, is recommended by everyone here. |
