I reckon the error may be from fluffing the .00 on the end of 10,000 If the keyer had hit the 0 instead of the . on the keypad, then there is the extra three zeroes required. If so, this issue could be prevented with a system that refuses any entries without .## on the end. ie an entry of "5" does not default to "5.00" If you want $5 entered, you must key the decimals too "5.00" However, it would add a layer of tedium for bank staff. As for my take if it happened to me... Absolutely take a copy of the statement! And frame it. Tell the bank within a day. Be very happy if they were to leave the one days interest for me as a 'reward'. |

Then things get to trial and evidence produced can and is suppressed by either Prosecuction or Defence. A jury can only hear evidence which is admissable and as to the witness swearing "I will tell the truth. The whole truth and nothing but the truth." On whatever he/she holds sacred like the Bible or Koran or so. Why do you think, during a trial, Jurors are excluded from certain arguements or debates? No person has been charged with an offence yet as far as I am aware. Just carry on knowing that your opinion is 100% correct. |
