866287 2010-03-15 20:04:00 Most of the network drivers couldn't be removed - so disabled them.
Rebooted normally - no change still freezes after the request to activate windows.

Note: the only window that opens is one that states Spyware Doctor signature data base could not be found.

I couldn't find Spyware Doctor in the program list.

866288 2010-03-16 00:58:00 Restart it in safe mode, since this appears to work. Go into MS config, and see if spyware doc is there, see if it starts up in safe mode to activate Windows.

You can also try a Clean Boot Described Here (support.microsoft.com) - BUT you will more than likely have to get it activated first as per the previous reply.

If the system is to far damaged, it my be time to do a complete reinstall.

You did do a repair install Didn't you say ??

866289 2010-03-16 01:42:00 I was able to remove Spyware Doctor, but unfortunately it didn't make any difference.

Yes I did a repair install.
