Sorry, not how I see it. They're not just an animal to me. What matters is their rightful existence as any other creature on the planet including humans. And having them caged from birth in unimaginable conditions till their often brutal death is not an existence at all. I'm sure you're sick of hearing (or reading) this, but they do have feelings and feel pain as much as you and I do. As for the pigs - I don't like how many of them are raised, but we simply cannot afford the free range ones. Where did you get the assumption that pigs are more intelligent than tigers? Not saying they're not, but I'm not saying they are either.....each species are intelligent in their own ways. |

I would take the animal inside over the human being as I am willing to bet that the animal would not sell my computer on TradeMe for drugs. Neither would an animal go for a joyride in my car either. Some while ago I tried to help a guy who went off with some of my gear. Never seen him since. That was a long time ago but I have not forgotten. |

What do you mean by plenty? Two, Three or more than that. You need at least two to reproduce. One Male and one Female to start with. Possibly some animals are more intelligent than others but some humans have an IQ of less than the average which means they can/could/may be put in a moron class depending on the way they are judged. Oh dear. No Gay marriages for Tigers which I do not think they invented anyway. Actually I may be sentimental for which I make no apology. |

I say keep the,tigers and lions and feed those who battered their babies to death to them. I can't see why the Tiger was put down myself, but it is complete bull that murderers, rapists and child killers stay relatively free. |

I think if NZ decided to put down all the animals in the park there will be a massive international outrage. That and some international zoos may offer to take some of the cats. |

News reports leave a lot to be desired in my opinion. Any person who jumps to conclusions based on news needs to have a bit of a think. Currently there appear to ongoing investigations into the matter in any event so let us just let the authorities just get on with it. |
