Sure is, by what I've been reading its probably a perfectly legitimate file with the trojan 'hiding' in it. As to how I remove it without causing myself bigger problems, !! probably will have to call in the 'experts'.

867318 2010-03-16 02:56:00 Umm no. All you have to do is see what D is. Then we'll know. If you get teamviewer, and it hasn't been removed, I can check it out from here. Usually if its in autorun.inf, its a worm or may even been conficker Speedy Gonzales (78)
867319 2010-03-16 02:57:00 it could be a false positive.

could try another A/V or this (www.eset.com)

867320 2010-03-16 03:24:00 I've looked up the drives and D drive is HP Recovery, does that mean anything to you?,. Fern01 (15675)
867321 2010-03-16 03:27:00 Thats where the recovery partition is I think. Did you scan all of D? If its still there? Speedy Gonzales (78)
867322 2010-03-16 03:29:00 Yes it does.

1. It should not have a virus anyway.
2. You STILL do not say if D: is a partition on a hard drive.
3. Do you have a CD in the optical drive?
4. Under windows a recovery partition is normally hidden.

867323 2010-03-16 03:35:00 What OS are you running?
go to computer/my computer, how many hard disk drives are there?

867324 2010-03-16 03:38:00 I've just finished scanning D drive, it found nothing. They are quarantined, is it safe to delete them or should I go through certain programmes to see if they are still working properly.? Fern01 (15675)
